From Riemenschneider’s workshop, a large paneled altarpiece with painted releifs. This was part of the high altar at St. John’s Chapel in Gerolzhofen, and displays scenes from the life of John the Baptist.
This piece is located in Munich’s Bavarian National Museum, the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum.
