On the north exterior wall of the Kiliandom, Würzburg Cathedral, there is a fairly unremarked copy of Riemenschneider’s gravestone. It’s accompanied by a plaque noting that this tombstone was discovered here in 1822.
The original is located in the Festung Marienburg museum across the river, and can be conveniently examined at eye-level.
